The Principal of Reciprocity

 

EgoZen Retreats operates on a strict model of global reciprocity. We do not discount our rates because we believe in paying our indigenous Bribri and Miskitu medicine men and women beautifully and fairly for their sacred labor. Furthermore, a designated portion of all our operational proceeds goes directly into our partner 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your personal investment in your own deep healing, trauma integration, and nervous system restoration directly funds the physical protection of 20,000 acres of old-growth Costa Rican rainforest and the vital breeding grounds of the endangered leatherback sea turtles. Built from Lived Experience, Not Theory

 

Years ago, our founder was ready to take her life. In a final attempt at hope, she reached out to a mentor who helped her discover her purpose through her non-profit and coaching career. This work was born from the fire. After surviving three near-death experiences, our head facilitator returned to this world with a divine blueprint— a direct map to quiet the ego, integrate the shadow self, and hear the voice of the higher self. Real, long-lasting change requires removing yourself entirely from the environment that created the trauma patterns in the first place.

A Multi-Disciplinary Container

 

This is neither a casual wellness resort nor a clinical hospital setting. It is a highly intentional, participatory full-life reset. You will be held, but not controlled. Guided, but not managed. Our multidisciplinary support network includes harm reduction practitioners, substance abuse and grief counselors, leadership coaches, and indigenous elders. During your 6-night container ('The Taste')  you will experience:

  • Sacred Indigenous Ceremonies: Working with cacao, rapé, temescal (sweat lodge), and traditional plant medicines guided strictly by elder practitioners from the Bribri and Miskitu lineages.

  • Nervous System Detox: Reclaiming your pre-capitalist nervous system through organic, farm-to-table cuisine prepared by a retired fine-dining chef, zero-alcohol protocols, intentional intermittent fasting and structured digital fasting.

  •  Ecosystem Integration: Immersive jungle hikes, waterfall treks, and direct interaction with active rainforest and animal conservation efforts.

The Container Begins Before You Fly

 

Deep trauma integration cannot happen in a vacuum. To ensure your breakthroughs translate permanently into your daily life, your investment includes The Integration Protocol:

  • Pre-Retreat Preparation: Private alignment and health screening calls to prepare your mind and body for the jungle.

  • Post-Retreat Integration: 1-on-1 virtual integrative coaching calls upon your return home to anchor your healing into your career, relationships, and daily routines.

Secure Your Container

 

To maintain emotional safety availability is strictly limited.

  • Investment: $5,555 USD (All-inclusive: private single lodging, local transport, farm-to-table dining, all ceremonies, and integration coaching). Other tiers of pricing are available depending on accommodation and range from $3,333 USD to $7,777 USD.  We will discuss options during intake.

  • Deposit Structure: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required immediately upon acceptance to secure the local third-party venue and to lock in our indigenous practitioners. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Contact us at the email below for questions or use our contact form.
